"In my Hindi classes, levels are based according to the proficiency levels
of students. Hence, in level one, student of any age can be admitted
according to the proficiency level. I divide my classes in two semesters and
give two assessment tests every year to all my students to observe their
progress. Material for learning Hindi is given in the class by me.
Additional work- sheets of Hindi grammar which has been prepared by me given
to students all year. Students of all levels get the weekly homework.
Hindi plays which are produced for the Annual Function of IIS are extra
bonus for the participating students because participation is not compulsory
for all the students of Hindi. All the willing students who wants to
participate in the plays come for rehearsals on Saturdays. Hindi
Course-work does not require play participation. Yearly Hindi play
production is a volunteer effort along with the dedicated parents to
connect students with the vast and vibrant Indian culture.
County classes are taught on Saturdays for three hours for three months at
my home. Not all my students from IIS appear in the County exam but only
who are proficient enough in Hindi writing get the intensive composition
training in Hindi essay writing. "
