Subash Vinjamuri teaches Carnatic Violin. SUBHASH VINJAMURI started playing the violin since he was six years old. Since then, he has performed solo, and in accompaniment, in public programs. Subhash initially learned the violin from his father, Sriman Vinjamuri Parthasarathi Iyengar, and later studied under Sunadavinoda Violin Mastro Guru Sri Madhala Brahmananda Naidu Garu. While studying engineering form Mysore University, Subhash won first place in the Inter-University Classical Music Competitions, and was awarded a gold medal by the Karnataka Government. Subhash acompanied many popular visiting artists from India, Pakistan, and Afganistan. He also gave solo performances in India, US and Canada, and has played in AIR and Indian TV. He is often seen in Washington local Indian TV Channels, and played for the Gurudwar Bhajans telecast on Channel 56. Subhash composed Music for several Kuchipudi Dance Ballets produced by Kalamandapam, a local dance school, and participated in many fundraising events, including the prestigious dance ballet at Kennedy Center. Subhash teaches both Carnatic and Hindustani music.
