New Bollywood & Rajasthani Folk Dance Classes on Saturdays!

IIS is proud to have Pratima Mathur is a highly trained dancer and teacher join our faculty. She will be offering dance classes in Bollywood/Rajasthani Folk for both children and adults. Please check her class schedule and register before Feb 1st.
Pratima has been learning dance since she was at the young age of 3 and has had hundreds of stage performances and recitals since. She has been teaching dance for 15+ years, has been trained by Guru Malti and Saroj Khan, and is extremely dedicated when it comes to teaching. She specializes in Bollywood dancing and folk Rajasthani dancing, but has also dipped her feet into other classical forms of dance, such as Kathak. In the past, she has performed in various plays and dances, and also on the television networks of Lucknow, Bhopal, and Jaipur where she had the privilege of acting and dancing in a telefilm for Bhopal television in 1997. Through these experiences she has received multiple awards of Best Dancer and Best Actor. Additionally, she has attained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master’s of Arts in English Literature, and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications.
New Harmonium classes are being offered from November 1st. Classes will be held on Friday evenings. Please contact IIS admin staff for more information.
